Giancarlo Gonzalez

Giancarlo is an experienced recruiter with a wealth of knowledge in the technical space including content strategy and development. A Communications major with valuable experience at both a marketing and design school, as well as a large staffing agency, Giancarlo arrived at Steyer ready to make great matches from day one. Importantly though, he’s also a careful listener who knows when to slow down: as a recruiter, he takes the time to truly learn what is important to a candidate, to ensure that any position he presents will in fact help them to reach their development and financial goals.

In Giancarlo’s free time he loves to bring balance to his life. He is an avid surfer and rock climber. He regularly takes on the steep slopes and frigid waters of the Orgeon coast near Cannon Beach, but in between outdoor adventures he can be found bouldering and top-rope climbing at Movement Gym. What he loves most in life is reading. He reads widely, but Fantasy endures as his favorite genre. As Giancarlo is a local to Portland, he is of course also a committed foodie, spending time with friends exploring all the different food cultures the city has to offer.
