Alex Bernson is a writer, marketer, and project manager based in Seattle, WA, who blends decades of technical fluency with a keen editorial eye to deliver exemplary marketing and communications. He spent 15 years working in the Specialty Coffee industry, including managing and opening coffee bars on both coasts; helping grow the blog Sprudge.com into a go-to global news source as its first Managing Editor; and directing brand and marketing for the Specialty Coffee Association’s portfolio of global events, including the World Barista Championships, Re:co Symposium, and the Specialty Coffee Expo.
