Hello! We’d like to encourage you to attend an event that Microsoft is hosting: Include 2021. A bunch of us will be live Slacking these sessions as they unfold, and we’d love to have you join to share your observations as well.
Pre-registration is required. Some info from Microsoft:
“On March 17th, Microsoft is gathering academics and thought leaders on the topic of diversity & inclusion for a global digital event. In our free, open to the public, livestream event, guest speakers will address concepts like Allyship, Covering, Privilege, Identity, and Intersectionality. You’ll be able to pick from a line-up of sessions throughout the day and attend the ones that are most meaningful to you. At Include 2021, these experts will share their research-based insights that can help us explore topics like the evolution of how we think and talk about gender, how to ensure a thoughtful approach to mental health in the workplace, and how organizations can support and advance the global conversation on race. If you’re interested, you can get more information and register here. Feel free to share with your colleagues.”
Process note: This session is part of a series of monthly meetups that Steyer hosts. Some of these meetups are limited to Steyer employees only; some are open to the public. The idea is simply to spend a bit of time together exchanging stories and ideas—to get to know one another better and to learn from one another.
