Steyer Content is a full-service content agency that uses world-class writing, video, code, and design to create transformative experiences that build trust and grow revenue for our clients. We plan, create and optimize business content that works for today.

We are seeking an experienced user experience designer for one of our longtime tech clients in the travel industry. In this role, you will design experiences across multiple devices and platforms, from responsive web applications, to iOS and Android mobile apps. You will choose the right tool for the right problem, fluidly moving through different stages of the process, from sketching to low- and high-fidelity prototypes. In addition, you will maintain our pattern library to influence product quality and efficiency.

If you are the right fit, you have a strong background in using design systems to craft visual experiences and flows, all the while grounding your work in observation, research, and analytics. You believe universal design is the best design, and continually keep all user abilities in mind. You see feedback as an opportunity, both giving it and receiving it thoughtfully to raise the quality of the user experience. You have the ability to take a project from requirement gathering through to completion, and can collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to get there.

This is a year-long, full-time, contract role based in Austin, TX. We'll only be able to respond to applicants who meet the basic qualifications for this role. We offer a strong benefits package for full-time employees: http://steyer.net/benefits.

Required:

- 4-6 years of experience as a UX/Product Designer
- Experience with consumer facing apps and websites
- Seasoned in developing sketches, wireframes, flows, and basic prototyping.
- Proficiency in Figma or Sketch
