We are seeking a very senior UX designer who thrives at the intersection of design, user experiences, data, and technology to join our high profile travel technology client’s experience platform design team. In this role, you will place a deep focus on user insights to help you understand their problems, isolate potential windows of opportunity, and ultimately craft compelling solutions that are intuitive, thoughtful, simple and delightful. 

If you are the right fit, you know how to find a balance between tapping data to innovate big ideas, but your portfolio validates your understanding of the weight of small details, of quality, and the understanding that sometimes less is more. You are not limited by device or platform, but are well versed in responsive web and native mobile technologies. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a bias toward thoughtful yet swift action, and an eye on the future and how current design decisions impact long term goals.

Required:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in responsive web and native mobile product design and user experience projects
  • Experience mentoring other designers and leading complex design projects
  • Confidence to strategize and transform business problems into user experience opportunities
  • Strong proficiency in sketching, wireframing, prototyping (using Figma), multi-screen layout, typography, flows, UI specs, and ultimately presenting rationale to senior level stakeholders
