We are looking for a technical writer for one of our large, Redmond-based tech clients. In this role, you will design, develop, and author content focusing on the product for frontline workers. You will work with program managers, support engineers, and customers to create content for new features, update existing articles, and respond to content feedback. You will maintain brand style and voice guidelines and keep a broad view of the entire content portfolio.

If you are the right fit, you are a fast learner who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and create end-to-end customer scenarios, helping to ensure consistent and coherent experiences across industries. You are comfortable responding to content requests, but also identify implied content needs and make suggestions/changes accordingly.

Required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite of services.
  • 3-5 years of work experience with admin/IT Pro or advanced end user audiences and proven technical expertise that helps you to ramp up on new projects quickly.
  • Significant experience writing simple, clear, and conversational content both in product and on the web.
  • Willingness to share portfolio or relevant writing samples during interview
  • Basic understanding of GitHub

Pay rate range, depending on experience level: $35-45/hr. W2.
