Technical Writer

January 12, 2023
Steyer Content is a full-service content agency that uses world-class writing, video, code, and design to create transformative experiences that build trust, and grow revenue for our clients. We plan, create and optimize business content that works for today.

We are looking for a high-level technical writer for one of our large Seattle-based tech clients in the emerging conversational AI space. In this role you will have the opportunity to join a unique team that supports technical documentation for a learning platform that includes topics like cloud frameworks and bot composer content. You will be part of a documentation effort ahead of an upcoming release, crafting content to educate audiences on new capabilities coming to market, guiding developers who build the software, and informing broader stakeholders.

If you are the right fit, you have stellar project management skills and solid experience using GitHub for content creation. You are efficient in distilling disparate content into something clear, concise, and meaningful that resonates with the intended audience. And of course, you can confidently pivot between sometimes competing priorities and thrive in a fast paced, deliverable-driven environment.

This is a shorter term, full-time, contract engagement slated to go through March 2023 and can be done fully remotely. We offer a strong benefits package for full-time employees, including insurance coverage, paid time off, sick leave, wellness days, and access to ongoing learning resources. Please see for more information about eligibility and offerings.

  • 3-5+ years of experience writing and editing software product documentation or other public-?facing content (enterprise/business audience preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks and work independently
  • Solid experience using GitHub for content creation
  • Some exposure to working with developers and technical stakeholders
Pay range: 45-50/hr. W2
