Usability Researcher

We are looking for a passionate user researcher to join one of are large Redmond-based technology clients Cloud and AI team. In this role you as a research specialist, you
will design and carry out studies to understand and quantify the user experience of Fraud Protection. The specialist reports actionable findings and usability metrics that the design and engineering teams use to improve the product for an external-facing product.

If you are the right fit, you are adept at working through ambiguity to establish structure where it is needed, while also understanding how to zoom out to drive long-term design strategy. To get there, you know how to ask the right questions to identify potential strengths and weaknesses of the user experience and make captive audiences feel well-informed.

This is a full-time contract role, through July 2023, that can be done remotely.   • 1-2 years of user research experience
  • Preferred experience with fraud protection or Cloud
  • Confidence to pivot to different mixed-method research approaches as needed to better understand user needs and how to better educate them about technology products
  • Familiarity with interpreting data, analysis, and presenting research findings to key stakeholders
Pay rate range, depending on experience level: $35- $45/hr. W2.
